Safety

Our goal is to comply and/or exceed the safety standards we are held to which can be found in 29 CFR 1926 “OSHA Construction Regulations”.  Various trainings that we require for our employees include: OSHA 30, OSHA 10, OSHA Focus Four (fall protection, struck by, caught in/between, electrocution), First Aid, Ladders & Stairs, Forklifts/Skytracks, Aerial Lifts,  Fire Protection & Prevention, Hazard Communication.

We can only protect our employees from hazards that are intentionally observed and controlled. Therefore, our first focus is to provide a work environment free of unrecognized health and safety hazards. This is implemented by training employees to identify common hazards in construction and requiring the completion of a daily Pre-Task Plan. The daily Pre-Task plan is completed by the foreman on each project and includes the identification of job steps for the day, potential hazards, and implementation of hazard controls to protect employees from injury.
